Hello! I am glad to be here today

Hello 2025!

You are not what I thought you would like but here we are. I woke up this morning without her. Just like I have the last 4 months. I lost my precious baby girl to placental abruption and, likely suspected, have been an absolute blob of emotions and capacity. I reached for art to help make me feel again. I have a deep love of learning and decided to get a small oven-bake clay set. I had spent enough time on the couch crying and needed to look forward to something. 

In my fashion, I started with a very advanced cane! I knew nothing about polymer clay. I watched a short video about making earrings from slicing a clay snake that forms an image. The results are below: 

Wow. While not good at all, it was not terrible either. This was a success! I could make out some of the shapes and colors and best of all, had a blast following the tutorial. Follow this video for the fun!

Since this batch of lopsided smiles, I advanced my research and got a few (and more) cutters and improved my clay and findings quality. 

Angel June Designs was created from a place in my heart that needs to create and express. I am a naturally positive person and depression can grab hold and not let go. I have to keep moving forward. 

I am happy to be here. Since I have started making polymer clay jewelry I have received a very positive response to my designs and great attitude. I am in 3 small shops, online, and have been in a weekend craft market. Things are going great for my mini art show. I just love creating all the pieces and making them come to life. 

We are looking forward to what the new year brings and the best I can do is hope to create joy in others with my jewelry designs.
